Handheld Terminal

Take the order, send it and take payment at the table.

A pocket-sized terminal with the full Taybl POS on it. Seat guests from bookings, take orders, flag allergies and take card payment without ever walking back to a till. Guests tap to pay on the same device.

  • Order and pay in one place. No separate card machine to carry.
  • Seated from the booking. Names, cover counts and notes are already on the screen.
  • Orders go straight to the kitchen. Tickets fire to the KDS the second you send.
  • Built-in card reader. Contactless, chip and PIN and mobile wallets, all on the device.
  • Pay at the table. Hand it across for split bills, tips and tap-to-pay.

Register Package

A proper till, with everything in the box.

A touchscreen register with the printer built in, a cash drawer underneath and a separate card reader for counter and bar payments. One package, one price, nothing else to buy.

In the box: Sunmi D3 Pro touchscreen register with built-in receipt printer, cash drawer, BBPOS WisePad 3 card reader.

  • Bar, counter and table service. Switch between Bar Only, Table Service and Order & Pay.
  • The whole floor at a glance. Food ready, tables needed, guests arriving.
  • Receipts without a separate printer. It's built in, so one less box and one less cable.
  • Cash drawer opens with the sale. Counts feed into end-of-day reporting.
  • Card reader on a stand. Guests tap or insert, and staff don't need to hand over a device.

Kitchen Display

Tickets the kitchen can read from the pass.

A 21.5" touchscreen that shows every order the moment it's sent: by table, by course, with timers and allergens in plain sight. Tap to start, tap to ready, and the floor knows.

  • Paper tickets, gone. No printer, no lost slips, no ink.
  • Course by course. Starters, mains and desserts show as groups, with Hold and To Fire states.
  • Timers on every ticket. Tickets turn red when overdue, so the pass can see problems early.
  • Allergens and notes in full. Modifiers sit right under the dish, not buried.
  • “Ready: alert floor.” One tap tells the server the food is up and ready to collect.
  • Dine-in, collection and delivery. Table orders, collection and delivery orders in the same view.

Taybl Hub

When broadband goes down, service doesn't.

The Hub creates its own network in your venue and keeps a 4G connection in reserve. Handhelds, register and kitchen screens keep talking to each other, and cards still get processed, even without broadband.

Your broadband drops.
The Hub switches to 4G, and your devices keep talking to each other over your local network.
Orders, payments and other heavy data are saved on the Hub.
When broadband returns, everything uploads automatically. Nothing is lost.

One dropped connection on a Saturday night can cost more than the Hub does. Specs: MikroTik Chateau LTE7, 4G/LTE Cat 7, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Gigabit Ethernet. SIM included if ordered, data-only, on Vodafone's network.

Questions, answered.

Do I have to buy hardware from Taybl?

Most of our hardware can be purchased from wherever you like, with the exception of the Taybl Hub, due to the amount of pre-configuration and custom settings that we add to the unit. If you have existing hardware you would like to use that differs from the specs above, please contact our team for more guidance.

Can I rent or finance the hardware?

Not at the moment. Hardware is a one-off purchase.

Are the prices inclusive of VAT?

No. All prices are shown ex-VAT.

What does Taybl charge for card payments?

1.49% per transaction, with no extra Stripe fees on top. This rate applies to any payments taken on Taybl devices. QR code ordering and deposits attract a separate fee.

Does the free trial include hardware?

No. The trial covers the software. Book a demo and we will talk you through the right kit for your venue.

How quickly will it arrive?

Usually within 2 days. Never more than 7.

Do I need to set it up myself?

Devices arrive unconfigured. An onboarding call is included to get everything connected. It is separate from your standard Taybl onboarding.

What if something breaks?

Every device has a 12-month warranty. Contact Taybl first, on 03338 80 30 90, and we will sort it out.

What happens if my internet goes down?

With a Taybl Hub, your devices keep working over cellular backup: orders, kitchen tickets, printing and card payments. Anything that needs the cloud is saved and uploaded when you are back online.

What does the Hub's £10 a month cover?

The cellular data plan: up to 20GB a month, per venue. That is plenty for occasional outages.

Do I need a Hub?

It is not required, but we recommend it. A dropped broadband connection is the thing that stops service.

Can I add devices later?

Yes. Add more handhelds, a second kitchen screen or another register whenever you need to.

How many Hubs do I need?

One per venue.

See it on your floor before you buy it.

Book a demo and we will walk through your venue, recommend the right setup and answer any questions you have. Or call us on 03338 80 30 90.
